Please find here our Hamper Purchase & Shipping Terms. This section specifies your rights when purchasing our products and contains important information about our purchasing and shipping terms, please read them carefully.

Your order constitutes your agreement to be bound by these Hamper Purchase and Shipping Terms. That is, an agreement between you (the organisation or individual who is ordering products from our website) and Humble Sampler Pty Ltd, ABN 58 629 870 202  (we, us, our, or Humble Sampler).

These Hamper Purchase and Shipping Terms apply to any purchase of any products (Gift Hampers/our products) by you from our website which are delivered in Australia. For our full Terms and Conditions that relate to www.humblesampler.com and the Mighty Networks App please refer to www.humblesampler.com/pages/terms-conditions.

Purchases & Payments

You must provide complete and accurate details when making your purchase, including correct delivery addresses and delivery instructions. Humble Sampler cannot be responsible for mistakes that lead to a failure to receive a Gift Hamper, nor are we obliged to replace the order to the correct address at our expense. 

We ask that, as soon as you realise that a mistake has occurred, you let us know immediately and we will try our best to rectify the problem, however we cannot promise that we will be able to do so.

Our prices do not include insurance or any secondary attempts to deliver our products to you.

Humble Sampler reserves the right to refuse any Order. In such a case, Humble Sampler will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and refund you any payment in full.

All products ordered are for personal use and gifting only. They must not be resold in any form or any place; Humble Sampler reserves the right to take legal action against unauthorised and unofficial sale of goods.

All prices on the website are in Australian dollars. Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices stated on the website are inclusive of GST.

You must pay the Order Amount by credit card at the time of submitting the Order. Humble Sampler accepts Visa and Mastercard. After payment has been made, you will receive a transaction confirmation email, which confirms receipt of your order.

For multi hamper and corporate orders, you can contact us via email (hello@humblesampler.com) and we will be in touch with you to get all the details for your order.

For large orders submitted to us via email, gift hampers will only be dispatched after payment has been received in full and funds have been cleared.

In the event that we do not receive cleared funds after 48 hours of you submitting your order, we will email you at the email address nominated in your order to communicate about your payment.

Purchasing Gift Hampers that contain alcohol

We have several hampers that feature wine and alcoholic beverage makers. We also offer the option of upgrading your hamper by adding in one of these at checkout. 

Warning. It is an offence to supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years and for a person under the age of 18 to purchase or receive alcohol. Alcohol cannot be delivered to or received by any person under the age of 18.

GST

Humble Sampler is registered for GST (Goods and Services Tax).

Shipping

Please note that due to COVID-19 there are delays in all courier and postal services including Express Post. This makes it impossible to guarantee normal delivery times.  Depending on your destination (city/regional) please allow an extra 1-5 business days for delivery.

Delays in deliveries are, unfortunately, out of our control. While we want you to enjoy your gift hamper as soon as possible, delivery and dispatching businesses are working very hard and dealing with very large volumes of deliveries. Please be patient.

For all orders placed via our website, we guarantee your Gift Hamper will be sent on the Tuesday, Thursday or Friday immediately following your order date.

To protect the products in your hamper from extreme heat (days with temperatures over 35 degrees), we may hold your shipping for an extra day. For heat over consecutive days, we will upgrade your package to Express shipping. 

Over the summer months we use a RedCycle approved Thermal Bag to protect chocolates from the heat.This bag is eco-friendly - it has 20% recycled content and is 100% recyclable through RedCycle bins located in supermarkets across Australia. 

Shipping options for individual hamper orders placed via our website

Greater Melbourne areaFree standard shipping. You can upgrade to Express shipping for $10.

Regional Victoria and Interstate$10 Express shipping flat rate.

Free express shipping is available for the first hamper on orders over $150

to anywhere in Australia. $10 per hamper is charged for additional boxes.

Shipping options for Corporate orders 

We offer Australia Express Post as standard. The prices for shipping will be calculated based on your specific order and the recipient addresses provided.

For corporate orders we can offer Courier Delivery in Metro Melbourne within 50km of the CBD. Prices will be calculated when your order details are finalised.

Delivery Partners

Our delivery partners are Australia Post and Sendle.

For Express Australia Post ‘s terms and conditions visit the Australia Post Website. Please note that Express Post is not a guaranteed next day service. 

Australia Post's and Sendle's delivery times vary depending on your location within Australia. You (the purchaser) will receive an Australia Post/Sendle tracking advice number, please use this number to track your parcels movements via the Australia Post website https://auspost.com.au/track/ or the Sendle website https://try.sendle.com/en-au/tracking.

Please note: Orders returned to Humble Sampler due to incorrect address, failure to collect from Australia Post Outlet, or failure to contact courier after delivery attempt, will incur a re-shipping and re-delivery fee.

Refunds will not be given for late delivery. Humble Sampler will not be held liable for late delivery outside of our stipulated delivery time frames. We endeavour to ship your order promptly and without delay. If a delay does occur it is often during transit which is outside of our control. In the rare case of not receiving your parcel within the anticipated time frame, please contact us via email hello@humblesampler.com and we will follow up.

International Shipping

Due to the perishable and fragile nature of our products, we do not offer International Shipping. 

Packaging

All Humble Sampler Gift Hampers will be packed into a recycled cardboard gift box and wrapped with Humble Sampler’s wrapping paper and sticker. All elements of your hamper can be recycled, reused or composted. This box is then placed inside a shipping box, so that it is not damaged.

The void filler that we use is Kraft paper which is 100% recyclable and compostable but very fragile items will be wrapped in additional wrap. We use this to keep all your products in place and as protected as possible. Please bear in mind that, once the box is shipped, we cannot take responsibility for any movement of products inside the boxes.

A note for the recipient will be printed on a sustainable gift card, please make sure that all required details are written in the note box on the checkout page. The gift card contains artwork by a First Nations artist via The Torch, Humble Sampler has a licence for this artwork through The Torch. 100% of the purchase price goes directly to the artist. The artist retains copyright of this image.This artwork was created through The Torch, a not for profit organisation, that provides art, cultural and arts industry support to Indigenous offenders and ex-offenders in Victoria.

Please dispose of the packaging thoughtfully.

Refunds, Exchanges and Damaged Items

Humble Sampler takes great care when packing your gift hampers to ensure food products are in good condition and are safely packed in their gift box.

In the unfortunate event that there is a major problem with an item or it is significantly different to what you expected, Humble Sampler will arrange for a replacement item to be sent to you within a reasonable timeframe. Please contact Humble Sampler on hello@humblesampler.com within 48 hours of receipt of the gift with details of the damage and we will discuss the best way forward. You may be entitled to an exchange for an identical item, or one of a similar value. Please include any images and evidence of the damage in your email.

Please note: Humble Sampler will, at all times, honour its obligations under Australian Consumer Law. Humble Sampler will not offer refunds or exchanges in the event that you have changed your mind or if you are unhappy with the products in your gift hamper. 

Changing or Cancelling orders

If you wish to change or cancel your order prior to dispatch please contact us immediately on 0407 871 698 or email hello@humblesampler.com, Monday to Friday between 9:00am - 5.00pm AEST  with your order number, to discuss what options are available to you.

Please note, once you’ve placed your order, it joins a queue for immediate processing and dispatch from our facilities, therefore it may not be possible to prevent your order from being dispatched.

Covid-19

Our staff follow strict COVID-19 guidelines to adhere to government regulations, which include:

  • Appropriate physical distancing in our warehouse/office/place of work;
  • Wearing face masks;
  • Practising good hygiene, including washing and sanitising hands and regularly cleaning and disinfecting shared spaces;
  • Requesting contactless delivery when possible.
